Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) at WilberForce Pharmacy
Save time and hassle with the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). This NHS service allows your GP to send your prescriptions directly to your chosen pharmacy electronically, eliminating the need for paper prescriptions.
How Does EPS Work?
It’s simple and convenient:
- Nominate Pharmacy: Nominate us as your preferred pharmacy for receiving electronic prescriptions, if you would like us to dispense your prescriptions.
- Your GP Sends Your Prescription Electronically: When your doctor issues a prescription, it's sent directly to our pharmacy via a secure NHS system.
- We Prepare Your Medication: Our team will have your medication ready for you to collect when you arrive.
Repeat and One-Off Prescriptions
EPS works for both repeat and one-off prescriptions. If you haven’t nominated our pharmacy yet, simply ask your GP to send your prescriptions electronically to us.
How to Nominate WilberForce Pharmacy for EPS
- In-Store: Speak to a member of our team in-store, and we'll register your nomination on the system.
- At Your GP Surgery: Let your GP know you want your prescriptions sent electronically to WilberForce Pharmacy.
- Online: Fill out the simple online EPS nomination form.
